  1. Thank you for your foundation and services. Please send me more information about treatments that you recommend for Stage 4 NSCLC. I have visited the Phoenix Cancer Survivors park which was very inspirational.

  2. Do you have any info on Transitional Cell Carcinoma or Urothelial Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)? Especially looking for treatment for metastatic/recurring transitional cell cancer or clinical trials for it. I received the book package you sent and thank you very much.

  3. Can you help my family and I with financial assistance with rent & utilities? I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Pancreatic cancer and need help!!!! I have all necessary documentation. Please?

    1. Karlan, please contact the Bloch Cancer Hotline at 800-433-0464 and we will try to find you assistance with your utilities, but your closest source for this type of assistance is the United Way in your town. Dial 211 and it will automatically contact you to available funding for rent and utility assistance.

  4. In November 2016, I was diagnosed with extensive stage small cell neuroendocrine (primary lung) which was found in early June 2017 to have metastasized to the brain, bones, breast and liver. I just finished 10 days whole brain radiation today nd I am expected to undergo chemotherapy next week. I am seeking any medical advice or any assistance. I want to beat this!

    1. Marie,
We are not medical professions, so we are not able to make any medical recommendations. That said, there is a very famous neuroendocrine doctor and department and the University of Iowa, Iowa City. His name is Dr. Thomas D’Odoriso. We actually have one of his books here at the Bloch Cancer Hotline and if you send us your address, we will mail it to you, free of charge. Call 1-800-433-0464.

  5. Hi, My name is Pamela Bicknell. I am a hematology/oncology nurse at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. I had the honor to visit your cancer survivor park in Palm Springs, California. I was so impressed by the beauty and the positive messages inspired by that park, it left me so hopeful, since that is the attitude I bring to my patients. I was so excited to see that Jacksonville, Florida also has a Cancer Survivor Park. It is attached to a community college campus on the outskirts of downtown Jacksonville. Visiting that park last week, made me sad. It is neglected, the positive message has been replaced by unkempt landscaping, dried up water features, peeling plaques, and a locked gazebo. I want to bring a beautiful cancer survivor park to the campus grounds of Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. The perfect place where experts in cancer research and top rated oncology physicians come together to treat patients from all over the country and the world. The grounds here are beautiful and the demographic here is in need of a place to positively prepare mentally for the treatment they are about to embark or to reflect on how far they have come. Please tell me how I can get a Cancer Survivor Park created here on our grounds and what criteria we need to meet to get this started. Thank you so much
