  1. Get to the rally!!! You will have such a blast! If only I was able to make it again. I always enjoyed myself whenever I went. It has been 29yrs for me and I miss not being able to be there this year and every year I have had to miss. Always telling someone new about it though so they too can attend the rally.
    Hi Angie.

    Have fun everyone!!!!!

  2. I’m a stage 4 survivor (named Joy) who discovered this while battling cancer. “No one’s happy they have cancer!

But you CAN have cancer & still be happy!”

Now my passion is in helping others from diagnosis through treatment serving as a personal guide who’s “been there” suffering total hair loss and enduring 3 years of chemo. treatments from 2010-2012. I share a free “Daily Dose of Joy” through Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/cancerwithjoy and for followers of @cancerwithjoy on Twitter where I share helpful resources & other things it seems there’s little time (or energy) to search for once you’re diagnosed. I also wrote a book titled “Cancer with JOY” (double meaning there!) published by Morgan James Publishing of NYC, and I speak to groups spreading lots of joy & laughs and I blog for The Huffington Post. I get a lot of enjoyment out of helping others who are devastated at diagnosis! I just moved to KS to be closer to family and plan to attend this on Sunday; it looks like a wonderful event and I’m Excited to be a part of it! Thanks to all the organizers and everyone who works so hard to put on a great celebration of life for all of us who have been through cancer together! 🙂
